The Candlewycke Inn is 3.5 miles from downtown Bigfork and Flathead Lake and 45 minutes from the west entrance to Glacier National Park. Our house number is 311 Aero Lane. Reflective candles point the way and red/white Xmas lights line the posts.
 From Missoula Call 511 for any road construction that could cause delays: You'll see that 93N seems the most direct however road paving is underway, so I recommend 83N
Take Interstate 90E from Missoula, exit 109 (Bonner/Great Falls) to Hwy 200E, turn left on 83N towards Seeley Lake and Swan Lake for a scenic drive
From Seeley Lake Area: Take 83N to 209W turn left (Bigfork sign) drive 1.5 miles to N Ferndale blinking lite at the Firehall, Turn right at the Candlewycke Inn sign. Drive 1 block. Turn right onto Aero Lane 4ft candle marks the turn. Drive about 1/2 a mile ~~ Aero lane will divide left and straight DON’T TURN / STAY STRAIGHT / follow the candles to 311 Aero Ln. There are red and white X-mas lights on the fence and 4 ft candles at the entrance archway ~~
OTHERWISE ~~ take 93N from Missoula to Polson, turn right onto 35N, drive about 30 miles North to Jct. 209, turn right, drive 3.3 miles to the next blinking light at Ferndale Rd and Ferndale Firehall. Turn left onto N. Ferndale Rd, drive 1 block, turn right onto Aero Lane (4ft. red logo candle), drive straight sown Aero Lane DON’T TURN / STAY STRAIGHT....follow the candles to 311 Aero Lane.
From Glacier Airport (FCA): Turn right out of the airport on Rte. 2. Drive 6.5 miles. Turn left on 35S (4 way intersection). Drive 20 miles South towards Bigfork. Go over the bridge pass the lighted intersection that says Bigfork Village. Look for blinking lights and Turn left on Jct. 209 Swan / Seely Lake. Drive 3.3 miles to Ferndale Rd and Turn left at the blinking light. Follow the directions above
From Kalispell or Whitefish: Take 93S to 82E (Bigfork sign) turn left. Go to the end of 82, about 6 miles. Turn right on 35S. Drive about 4 miles, turn left on Jct. 209E and follow the directions above.
From Glacier National Park: Exit the park on Rte 2, drive 15 miles to the Intersection 206E, turn left at the light. Drive 10 miles to Hwy 35S, turn left. Drive south on 35 (14 miles) PASS the left turn for downtown Bigfork Village going over the bridge with the lake on your right and the bay on your left. At the blinking light, Jct 209, Turn left and drive 3.3 miles to the next blinking light, Ferndale Rd and Ferndale Fire Hall. Turn left at the blinking light where you see my sign with a left arrow. Drive 1 block to Aero Lane (4ft. red logo Candle) turn right onto Aero lane, drive straight down Aero lane, no turns to the Candlewycke Inn.
"...thank you for your wonderful hospitality. Your Inn was so romantic and cozy. The open feel and look of a hunting lodge added to the romantic appeal. Everything about our stay was perfect. The decorations and special amenities like the bath robes just made our stay more enjoyable. You have such a beautiful view and we spent alot of time on the back porch looking at all the stars. Waking up in the morning and seeing all the deer in the back was a special treat. We felt like we were so far from everything and just enjoyed the peaceful surroundings."
