When you arrive at the Inn, we have a few changes taking place this year......Please forgive the mess from logging the property to reduce fire fuel. It will take a couple years for the grounds to recover but it will be much safer. Also there is a board lip around the deck to help Princess as her blindness is worse and we don't want her to get hurt falling off the deck or stairs. The Candlewycke Inn is 3.5 miles from downtown Bigfork and Flathead Lake and 45 minutes from Glacier National Park. The Inn house number is 311 Aero Lane. Reflective candles point the way.
 From Missoula Call 511 for any road closures due to fires south of Flathead:
Take Interstate 90E to Hwy 200 then drive North on 83N towards Seeley Lake and Swan Lake for a scenic drive ~~ OTHERWISE ~~ take 93N to Polson, turn right onto 35N, drive about 30 miles to Jct. 209, turn right, drive 3.3 miles, turn left at the blinking lite at the Ferndale Firehall, drive 1 block, turn right onto Aero Lane (4ft. red candle), drive straight past the divide where Aero Lane forks to the left.....DON’T TURN, STAY STRAIGHT....follow the candles to 311 Aero Lane.
From Seeley Lake Area: Take 83N to 209W turn left (Bigfork sign) drive 1.5 miles to N Ferndale blinking lite at the Firehall, Turn right at the Candlewycke Inn sign. Drive 1 block. Turn right onto Aero Lane 4ft candle marks the turn. Drive about 1/2 a mile ~~ Aero lane will divide and turn left and stay straight DON’T TURN!! follow the candles STRAIGHT down the street to the Inn. There are red and white X-mas lights on the fence and 4 ft candles at the entrance archway. The number is 311 Aero Ln.
From Glacier Park International Airport: Turn right out of the airport on Rte. 2. Drive 6.5 miles. Turn left on 35S (4 way intersection). Drive 20 miles south towards Bigfork. Go over the bridge passing the turn to downtown Bigfork. Turn left on Jct. 209. Drive 3.3 miles to N. Ferndale. Turn left. Take your first right onto Aero Lane. Drive straight down Aero Lane DON’T TURN ~~ follow the candles into the Inn.
From Kalispell or Whitefish: Take 93S to 82E (Bigfork sign) turn left. Go to the end of 82, about 6 miles. Turn right on 35S. Drive about 3 miles, turn left on Jct. 209E and follow the above directions.

The decorations and special amenities like the bath robes just made our stay more enjoyable. You have such a beautiful view and we spent alot of time on the back porch looking at all the stars. Waking up in the morning and seeing all the deer in the back was a special treat. We felt like we were so far from everything and just enjoyed the peaceful surroundings."
